Our letter this week was F, which meant lots of messy fun writing in foam, and making fork pattern in paint. We did finger printing and footprint trails, and art work using feathers, the children loved it. F week was also the perfect opportunity to do some maths work based on five little speckled frogs, your children all adore being frogs!! in addition to all the F fun, we also continued our show and tell. Once again the children impressed me with their willingness to talk, listen and question. Well done nursery!

Your children have been bringing items to talk about all week. They have really impressed me with their ability to talk in front of an audience and answer questions from peers and adults. Well done nursery! If your child has not yet brought something in, don't worry, we will be continuing all next week too. In addition to talking about their chosen item, the children have been learning go to ask questions. They found this tricky at first, but improved hugely as the week went on.
I hope you all had a lovely half term holiday, we certainly were spoilt with the gorgeous weather. With the weather in mind, I would like to ask that you send your children to school with sun hats with names written inside,, a bottle of water with their name on, and sun cream already applied. Oliver is missing his favourite Spider-Man sun hat, if your child brought it home by mistake please return it to school. Thank you. Next week is show & tell, please send your child to school with their favourite small toy. Many thanks 😊 |
