Thank you for dressing your children in red, white & green today, they looked fabulous! All of the children had at least a little taste of Welsh cakes, some ate quite a few! They also coloured in Welsh pictures and painted fantastic Welsh dragons! This term in nursery our book has been Cave Baby by Julia Donaldson. Today we joined with the reception class for a morning of Cave Baby activities.Activities included reading the story, hand printing and splatter painting, making playdough caves, cave chalking and drumming to a beat. We had lots of fun! Some letters naturally lend themselves to a lot more fun than others. The letter i has not inspired us much! However the children have enjoyed investigating insects and making igloos. In between rain showers and crazy windy weather this week the children have found time to have some hoola hoop fun.We have a very busy day planned tomorrow, so remember to dress your child in red, white and green, and check back for lots more photos. Thank you 😊In nursery we have been learning about harvest, and the season of Autumn. We have learnt two new Autumn songs, one about conkers and the other about falling leaves. We hope you enjoy them.Wow, what a fabulous morning in nursery, the children all looked wonderful dressed in their P costumes. Thank you all for your support. We had princesses...pyjamas...Paw Patrol...Peter Pan...and a pirate. We all enjoyed a fabulous party with popcorn, pink wafer biscuits and pink lemonade. We played party games and won prizes. We have had another busy week in nursery. We have been learning to recognise and form the number 2.The letter we have been learning is P.
