This week I have gone home every day covered in green glitter, I keep finding the stuff everywhere!! Our letter was G, so we made green from blue and yellow, we drew in green glitter, and had green glittery playdough. We also explored the garden (between the showers) to look for signs of Spring, and do mark making. This week our letter has been C, which has meant a week of counting, making castles with 2d shapes and decorating crowns. We also found time to make cornflake cakes, and taste crumpets. We also got some sun this week, which we made full use of ☀️Wow your children all looked so fabulous dressed up yesterday. We had lots of fun looking at books and hearing stories. Here are a few pics.Working on fine motor skills is so important in nursery as the children are learning pencil control. We love playdough in our class, so I thought d week was the perfect time for a dough disco! (Fine motor skills exercises, with playdough to music) The children loved it! |
